The project leading to this application has received funding from the Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 831833

THE PROJECT : OBJECTIVES

 

The aim of the project is to design, define, realize and test a prototype of adjustable length structural rods that can withstand high loads encountered in the aeronautical field.

THE PROJECT : concept

 

The concept consist to reinforce existing adjustable rods locally by welding titanium threaded inserts on aluminium rod body in order to support high loads and avoid fatigue problems.
